The Steely Dan of Hip Hop

When Kayne West ragged on Bush's ineptitude on a major coast to coast broadcast, my first thought was: "I need to download his album". I did, and all I can say is, don't. It almost hits the mark, but ends up just missing enough that you might as well not be listening to music at all. Give me some Jaylib please. He's attempting to be more arty than mainstream party Hip Hop, but just ends up being soulless and washed out, devoid of any of the hard edges that define really good Hip Hop... or art in general. He truly is the Steely Dan of hip hop. Thinking they walk a progressive edge, but in the end, just making muzak.
